fentons 50th anniversary

In 2023 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary! As part of the celebrations we launched our Fentons Community Grants program giving away 50 grants of $500 to community and sporting groups in the Onkaparinga Council area.

We have a long and proud history of supporting our local community and this was the perfect way to celebrate. A current list of the organisations we support can be seen below. In 2025 we look forward to launching the Fentons Community Partnerships program to formalise our ongoing commitment to give back to our wonderful local community who have given us so much support over the last 50 years.

Important update – changes from 1 July for AML/CTF We're only 2 weeks away from one of the biggest changes to the Real Estate and Conveyancing industry in many years. The Australian government has introduced important changes to the way property transactions will be handled to prevent money laundering. In practice this means you'll notice a few things happening much earlier in the Conveyancing process including:- ID checks completed right at the beginning of your transaction- Additional processes if a company or trust is involved as buyer or seller, and- Additional questions about the source of your funds or wealth when buying property. For most people this will be a simple add on to the normal Conveyancing process. We will gather the information earlier so we can meet our obligations and keep your transaction moving smoothly to settlement.Behind the scenes, we've been doing a lot of work to make this as seamless and secure as possible for our clients, including training our team and putting the right systems in place.
